Snack Ideas Kids Will Actually Eat
Posted on
Packing school snacks every day can sometimes feel never-ending.
The good news is that healthy snacks don't need to be overcomplicated.
A few simple favourites, packed in small portions and mixed up throughout the week, can make school snack time a whole lot easier.
Here are a few easy ideas to get you started.
Fresh fruit
Eat the rainbow 🌈 pack two different coloured fruits for more variety, flavour and nutrients.
Crunchy veggies
Vegetables can be much more appealing when they're easy to eat. Use our crinkle cutter to create fun veggie sticks.
And don't forget a little hummus for dipping!
Add some protein
Protein helps children feel full and satisfied for longer helping with concentration. Think biltong, a boiled egg or some leftover chicken.
Added snacks
Popcorn, homemade muffins or mini pancakes, a handful of nuts or hummus can all have a place in a balanced lunchbox.
Pack a little, not a lot
One of the biggest lunchbox mistakes is packing too much.
Small portions can feel much more manageable for smaller tummies and you can always add more if your child needs it.
Our Crunchbox has separate compartments, making it easy to pack a variety of foods together while keeping them neatly separated.
It's simple, practical and designed for real school days.
Happy packing and happy Crunching!
